blackfeet braves is a garage rock band from san diego, california. tom krell, better known as how to dress well just released his second full-length, total loss on september 17 in north america. as a celebration of sorts, check out the albums single, "& it was u." we were convinced how to dress well had come and gone, but the single, and more specifically, the album as a whole, did a pretty good job of debunking that idea. with any luck, he'll be around for a while. be sure to sample the stream above and, courtesy of the artist, grab the (right click, save link as) download here.
newer single from philadelphia-based sun airway, "close" seems as good a place to start as any. the track is the first to emerge from the forthcoming album, soft fall, which is set for an october 2 release date. while possibly busier, the song remains relatively true to their established sound and is worth a listen. check out the stream above and we'll work on a download.
