dave longstreth (a former yale student - no big) has been producing music for quite some time now n has collaborated with an impressive list of musicians. the first time longstreth's work surfaced as dirty projectors was in 2003 when the glad fact was released. the band just announced their new album swing lo magellan which is set for a july tenth release date (in the united states).
